Zaira Dzhaubaeva was born into a family renowned for its artistic and literary contribution to their homeland. Daughter of Husey Dzhaubaev, the laureate and famous poet / journalist of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia (Russia), who is remembered to this day as the highest standard bearer of the Karachay culture in the world. Her parents stimulated Zaira with creative activities at an early age. She studied at the Stavropol State University. There she earned a degree in History and Social Sciences. After graduation she started working at the "Karachay-Cherkessia" State Broadcasting Company. Zaira developed a lifelong passion for painting and drawing, to which she dedicated herself exclusively when she left her post as the Chief Director of the television company.
Zaira's watercolors are an explosion of life and color with a very rich and varied palette which shows her fascination with flowers and the animal world as two of her favorite subjects. Her works have become very popular worldwide. They are in private collections in United States, Russia, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Argentina, New Zealand, Greece, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and other countries. Zaira lives and paints in the United States.

Since I live in Southern California, I can't attest to it's warmth in cold climates, but when we hit my idea of cold weather (40s and 50s) it's been great.
I chose to get a slightly larger size (XL) in case the large was a tight fit. In retrospect, maybe I should have gotten the large, but when shopping online, you can't try it on. Amazon has excellent return policies, but in this case, I didn't bother...big and warm suits me just fine.
Oh, and just because I'm a 60 something female doesn't mean that this is just for older ladies. It just means that older ladies recognize quality when they see it.

I knew about its limitations before I purchased it. Other than that it's a great wallet.
